BEGINNER PARTNER SWING CLASS
6:30-7:15pm
Ages 18+. No partner needed, we will ROTATE in class. We will be teaching the BASICS of 6-Count Swing, Lindy Hop, and Charleston. This is typically a 4-week series with registration through The Cary Arts Center Community website.
6-count Swing: Jan, Apr, July, Oct
Lindy Hop: Feb, May, Aug, Nov/Dec
Charleston: Mar, Jun, Sep
We encourage you to do all 3 topics before moving on to the Intermediate lessons OR sign up for both.
INTERMEDIATE SWING
7:15-8:00pm
In this class we will be combining 6-Count, Lindy Hop, and Lindy Charleston rhythms/moves. Footwork variations, styling, and musicality may also be introduced.
It is highly encouraged that you have some experience in all 3 of these dance genres OR take the BEGINNER level series at least 3 times to be very solid in those concepts.
